Interlibrary Loan Requests

Registered Library patrons in good standing may have up to three items on request at one time.

Interlibrary loan requests may be made in person in the Library, by telephone at 758-2107, or by e-mail at columbiaill@columbiacountyfla.com

When making an interlibrary loan request, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Your name and library card number
  • Your phone number or e-mail address (so that we can contact you about your request)
  • Where would you like to pick up the requested item (Main Library, Fort White Branch, or West Branch)
  • As much specific information about the item you are requesting as possible: title, author, publisher, copyright date, ISBN

Interlibrary loan requests for books generally take four to six weeks to fill, so please make your requests as early as possible.  We try to fill as many

requests as possible, but we may not be able to fill every request.  If you have questions about an interlibrary loan request, please call 758-2101 or e-mail

us at columbiaill@columbiacountyfla.com
