Please be aware of the following restrictions.  See the Policy Statement on Use of Meeting Rooms for

clarification and additional requirements.

1.   All meetings must be of a cultural, civic or educational nature and open to the public.  No profit-making or commercial are permitted.

 

2.   Organizations may not solicit for donations for fundraising purposes or make sales except for the benefit

      of the library and its purposes.

 

3.   Meetings can only take place during regular library hours.

 

4.   Fees must be paid prior to the start of the meeting.

5.   Groups using the meeting rooms are responsible for arranging the chairs and tables as needed.

 

6.   Tobacco use and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the library.

 

7.   The fee for serving food or beverage other than water is $10 per meeting.  No kitchen facilities are available.  Red beverages are not allowed because of their staining properties.

 

8.   All groups meeting at the Main Library must enter and leave the building by the front door; the meeting room door

      is fitted with an alarm and is for emergency exit only.

 

AGREEMENT - On behalf of the above named group I am applying for permission to use library meeting facilities. 

I will be responsible for ensuring that this group abides by the provisions of the Policy Statement on Use of Meeting Rooms and exhibits proper respect for the building and for persons who might be using the library for purposes other than those of the group.  I have received a copy of the Policy Statement and will communicate its requirements to group members.
