Columbia County Seed Lending Library

The Columbia Seed Library meets every Wednesday at the Fort White Branch Library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  This is when we fill seed orders, answer emails, and help patrons who visit us at that time.

How to check out seeds at the Columbia Seed Library:

  • You must have a library card from the Columbia County Public Library
  • If you use one of the branches in the Columbia County Public Library system, you can fill out a request form during open hours at that library
  • You are permitted 5 packs of seeds a month
  • A list of the available seeds is at the end of these instructions
  • If you prefer to order via email, please email us at
  •  columbiaseedlendinglibrary@gmail.com
  • When you order by mail, please include the following information:  your name, your library card number or date of birth,  a contact number and the library location you use.
